Cage Mansavage, a fourteen-year-old misfit suddenly finds he can become “subvisible,” a condition in which he becomes temporarily—and unpredictably—invisible. As he questions whether he even possesses this power or whether his peers are simply ignoring him, Cage discovers a new sense of self confidence when he uses his subvisibility to confront the class bully, the girl he secretly admires, and his own personal demons.
